A lot of the work I do happens before and after a photography session. Before, I am preparing by checking weather forecasts, lighting conditions, considering appropriate props for your family and many other busy busy things.
After your session is just as busy. I spend a LOT of time at the computer perfecting your images in photoshop to make your beautiful pictures really shine. Here is an example of a newborn edit:
Each image takes me around 8 - 20 minutes to hand-edit. Im constantly checking skin-tone, lighting, that colours match through similar images, that focus is perfect and of course if there is anything distracting from your beautiful portrait.
It is my photoshop policy to leave what is natural (freckles, wrinkles and birthmarks) and remove what is temporary - bruises, scratches spots etc. I think its important that you still look like you in your photos.
