12 Babes of Christmas - Day 11

Alaric brings the gift of treats! This recipe is my go-to christmas favourite! Rum balls. Not boozey, soggy, fruity ones (although I like those too!) This recipe is a crowd pleaser, and you can even leave the rum out if its for a kids party. 

1 tin sweetened condensed milk

1 cup desiccated coconut

1 packet of Nice biscuits crushed or blitzed

2 tablespoons rum

2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

Mix all together, roll into balls then roll in extra coconut and place in mini patty pans to serve. Better  quality rum will make a smoother tasting rum ball.

Joshua brings the gift of laughter! We love seeing the Christmas parade every year. The music, dancers, animals, acrobats, reindeer and of course Santa at the end! We always hang around at the end to watch the City Hall laser light show too.

Sophie and Charlotte bring the gift of stories! We love walking along the Myer windows and reading the story to the girls each year. Their faces are always so amazed at the displays. We also love reading in the library, although getting your hands on Christmas stories now is pretty hard!
